The trains go through here at a pretty good clip!
This is the same train Bill posted tonight, only a moment later. You can see his shot HERE

Great capture and a wonderful sense of speed and power! Was this a push-pull train?
In this work, you are fine using a contrast! Wonderful!
wow, this is GREAT!!!!
Outstanding motion blur. Too bad that guy on the left ruined the shot. ;)
Sweet. His is grand, but I like your motion blur version the best!
Love the motion blur gives a real sense of speed, Fabulous!!
Good one Tara...this is a great motion and selective coloring.
Now, I am jealous...:) This IS the best train shot of the day!
outstanding work. that selective colouring would have driven me nuts :)
superb shot.....
Cool capture!!
This is brilliant Tara and great that Bill is envious.
Your title and capture work great together. Superb job. Love it! Aloha
I can fee the motion and that blast of air! I like the desaturation of the background too, Clive
Fabulous! and SO different to Bills!
This is so cool Tara! I love the motion of the train - really great job - I love how the color of the gravel/dirt on the left hand side of the train and the trees on the right hand side of the train are so dull in color - it really makes the color of the train and the motion jump out at you :)
Excellent Tara. A superb answer to Bills post :-D
Whoa!!!!!!!! Now thats impressive!!!!! I bet it sounded cool as well, great shot.. And AC/DC are brilliant lol So there! ;-) Airborne are not quite the same.. rougher sounding.. Basic.. Loud as hell! lol And fun! Rob
It looks a LOT faster here! I can almost feel the wind!
WOW - I was just quickly paging through the gallery but couldn't resist popping in! What a wonderful motion shot! Marvelous Hun!
Well done, you've captured the rarely seen Renderositus Photographicus in his natural habitat. The train is great too.
Nice work and great action.. I would have a word with that guy Bill getting in the frame! ;-)
Great work on the coloring...
Great capture. Very well done
I had to go and visit Bill's first, glad I did for it adds to this one. Love the action of this image in comparison!
cool color and action!!
Great capture! :)
For a second I thought it might be the famous Number-8 train, but if it is, it's way the heck ahead of schedule, and it doesn't look like the wheels have been changed, not that it's moving slow enough to gauge wheel status. Okay, and now having said that, and going "ooh and aah" and all of that, I must say "ooh and aah" some more. This is really fantastic. I love the intensity of the warm colors, that red/orange/yellow in contrast with the grays that seem to dominate, and then the crisp blue that also just happens to be a marvelous bit of Human focus. I've been on this "self-reference" kick for a while: I guess all of those readings of a book called "Metamagical Themas" really sunk in, and so whenever I see anything that could be even vaguely self-referential, I get all mushy and sentimental inside...kinda like the way some people do with old movies with guys in zoot suits or something. Anyway, a great photograph with a photographer in it is so deliciously self-referential and FUN. I love this, and the curve of the train, coupled with its motion makes this quite sensual. This is a great shot!
That's something you don't want to see if your car is stuck on the tracks. ;) Excellent capture!
Bill got the detail but you get the interest hands down! This is fabulous...INSTAFAVE!
