Hello.
Another poli work (polarization).
Simply picnic forks and converted to blue.
Material need:
I am lucky, I do have a lightbox (home made, wooden box 3 fluro in it and a diffuse sheet to get an even light). You can get a paper box, cut out the top put your light in, try to diffuse the light much as you can to get an even lightsource. Any white sheet does a job. Paper, fabric, plastic...
I have a proper polarized sheet bought from here

Try your iPad, laptop screen should work just as well.
Get some picnic ware, office accessories like clip, sharpener...oh and the cello. All need to be see through though. If you google thermoplastic elastomer, you will have a rough idea what material to look for. In a simple way look for things what feels like brittle plastic. They not bend, they break.
Get your polarized filter on your lens.Mine is a Hoya.
Method:
Light in the box, put the sheets top of it. (the white to diffuse and the polarized one for the color effect) Put the object on the sheet(s) and start shooting. If you use the circular polarized filter by turning the filter can get different colors and tones.
If you try it with your iPad then you allready have a backlit polarized surface so just put the fork or any other object on it and capture it.
