Nice shot. Well composed.
A venerable name for this textured character... Given Tara's dappled question... less is more!? I like it, Clive
Nicely seen Bill. Love this compo!
Great shot Bill. Lovely textures.
Wonderfully rich and filled with implied meaning.
Great shot, glad it doesn't go to sea!!!!
Excellent capture of this old boat :-)
Very nice!
excellent image
Great textures and colours going on here Bill! Lovely ...
Superb composition and capture! Great textures too! I didn't know the Indians had metal canoes. ;D
Great shot
splendid capture!
SUPER FANTASTIC IMAGE!
Great shot and wonderful spot of history
I love these old wooden boats, this is just lovely!
Splendid clarity, contrast and battered texture in this shot of the little boat, Bill.
Isn't it funny how these old boats become very photogenic as they decay!
Super composition, and I love your postwork choices. Textures, light, shadows ... it's wonderful! I can almost feel how cool the sand would be on the shady side of the boat. Excellent image!
Beautiful shot Bill this looks like a long lost boat waiting to be claimed..
Visions of 1950's 'Summer Camp' and a row of these craft. Each one shiny and new with the name of a famous Chief on the bow.Strange vision for me to have, as I wasn't around in the 50's and we never had Summer Camp. Love the lighting and texture in this shot, have to say that's a 'substantial' mooring line.Though, if it's a trail marker, you wouldn't want it wandering off :-)
excellent pov you chose Bill
Really nice composition and angle on this, Bill! There's just something fascinating about old boats.. I'll have to admit I was a bit taken aback at the 'anchor' chain on this, until I read the part about it beinf a trail marker! :-D
I really like this a lot. Things, as they start to decay, take on a different and fuller character; as if decay allows them to grow into what they actually should be, or maybe it's just that decay looks so cool! You've captured this perfectly and I love the colors, the textures, the overall mood, and that name sounds deliciously Klingon or something: ah, but Star Trek has a habit of stealing stuff from every known Earth culture and attributing it to aliens played by actors with lots of latex on their foreheads. This is a fantastic shot! I love it.
love this picture, was a good boat with a good name and thats what is to see in your photo!
A fantastic shot, Bill. Great pov, shadow of the chain, and I love the textures!
Nice shot but is looks like the rust is winning this battle. Dana
VERY NICE PHOTO.BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!
