Description
Full size view is a must :-)
This is for two special people who have both been so generous to me, both with their gifts from the market but also with the gift of thoughts and ideas.
Firstly, Trish for her gift of Priscilla. When I saw those big sad eyes I knew I could not make her a warrior of the world but perhaps a warrior of the soul. This soulful model really challenged my comfort zone and made me explore another dimension of myself. I love this model's dark side looks, especially that wonderful cracked skin texture and those wicked huge hurting eyes.
Haddaway's song sprung to mind as soon as I saw Priscilla's eyes in a test render. That song always brings a tear to my eye.
Just thought it seemed right.

And a Happy Birthday to Jenny, who has gifted me encouragement through the past year and encouraged me to push my boundaries. This one did. Hugs.
What is love
Oh baby, don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more
Oh, baby don't hurt me
Don't hurt me no more
Oh, I don't know why you're not there
I give you my love, but you don't care
So what is right and what is wrong
Gimme a sign

Very nice work Roxy! The cat staring into those big soulful eyes is a masterful touch!
I am blown away by the emotion in her eyes and the little touches.. the cat.. the mouse. Beautiful work, Roxy!
Wonderful emotion in this. Love how you phrased this - a warrior of the soul. So poetic. But then you're great with words. Beautifully done. Love that outfit btw.
Excellent work
this is stunning! and the cat makes a beautiful addition!
In your talented hands, even a dark, gothic artwork has a quality that yanks at one's heartstrings. My first reaction is to reach out a hand to this lovely girl and give her comfort. That is true art. Brilliant, Roxy! And a fitting birthday wish for these wonderful artists!
Excellent image, great emotion
Wonderful work with a wonderful character - you are correct about those eyes, they are grabber!
Oh those eyes! I opened up your gallery .. and those eyes grabbed me right off. Zooming in really is a trip .. those eyes pull me right in .. deep. Wow. I had no intention of looking back at more then one or images .. but those eyes ..
Oh man, you really captured the emotion here! The image looks great and that expression really gives it a deeper resonance.
I like it!
