Description
Hi friends,
Again I found something unusual in our garden.
A nice surprise of course.
Here in November, this poppy gives a new flower.
He is really not small, although its stem is very short.
He doesn't dares to show at this time, I suspect.
Well, he need not be ashamed, don't you think the same?
He may be seen, among all what's already dying.
He is so special, my Poppy. Hi, I love you.
Below I put the thumbnail of those other Super Flower.
The Hydrangea. That is also so special, 'cause he still triumphs in his pretty soft white color, as the only one on the bush.
Thank you for looking and your interest.
I always appreciate it very much. It gives me a lot of good courage.
This is my Superflower 1

Volgens mij heb je een behoorlijk grote tuin met van alles en nog wat. Weer heel leuk om te zien wat er nu nog in bloei komt. Het is hier nu behoorlijk slecht weer, regen en wind niet echt lekker.
Awesome image Mies and such a fitting day to post a capture of a poppy. Today in Canada is "Rememberence Day", a holiday to remember the soldiers killed in all the wars. The poppy is used as a symbol and if you see any Canadian on the news in the week before nov 11th upuntil today, they all will be wearing a red poppy on the lapel of thier jacket. The poppy came to be used in this manner after a poem called "In Flander's Fields" was written after the first world war. In Flanders fields the poppies grow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we lie, In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields.

Absolutely gorgeous Mies! There are poppies growing wild where I live. I think they give us some of the most beautiful color in the floral kingdom. I love the dewdrops. Excellent work, and beautiful sentiments to go with it!
