Why I chose the title 'Black Dahlia'?
I don't know. It sounded so exciting in my head.
maybe I watched too many detective's
maybe I'm a detective for exciting things
maybe I have too much fantasy
maybe I long for adventure?
Yes, fun adventure.
But I handed you a golden flower
and no black.
Is black a color?
Black, has it an odor,
maybe the smell of tension?
Please enjoy all the colors you see,
on the black, you are free.
With a lot of fun from me.
And now I continue vacuuming, isn't that's a great adventure?
I'm going on this adventure with the vacuum cleaner across the room.
For sure I'll do a discovery.
Watch what I'll meet.(?)
Shop, Shop, Mies,
Bye, Bye All,
I'm off ;D
Thank you!

Wow! Fantastic! art. Wonderfulllll. 5*+
This is a gorgeous image Mies. Excellent work. We tore out all the carpets in our house, have new hardwood thru the entire house except tile in bathroom and kitchen. So never vacuum anymore. Sweep or drymop. Found carpets were contributing to allergies. No matter how good the vacuum is it never seemed to completly get rid of dander and such from the carpets.
Yes Jim, you are right! No carpet on the floor (except a small one in the sitting room). But the wooden and stone floors I have to vacuum, right? ;-)
Lovely blending of colors here Mies, and super idea for the title also
how beautiful is this! thanks for sharing dear Mies!
heel mooi en gebalanceerd
It's lovely Mies, and lovely heartfelt words from you too. Don't overdo the housework.......you will put me to shame.
Great blending of abstract and geometric shapes, beautiful work!!

Beautiful, Mies! Gorgeous coloring. Amuseer je met het stofzuigen!!!! ;-) Corrie
So beautiful, like the duvet cover I'd like to own if I didn't have 3 of my 4 dogs sleeping on/in my bed! It's a pity you're so far away, you could pop in and do my vacuumning as well, Mies!
Great idea and image , Mies !Very wonderful work !
Very beautiful work.
Very lovely Mies and you make me smile with your wonderful words.
Fantastic work and a beautiful design! :)
Very good work Mies..Cool idea :)
sooooo creative and fantastic work!!!!!!
Mies, I do not really understand how you could pass this little gem. French, small wonder is not a pejorative term ... on the contrary, it means a magnificent jewel colors, shapes and rhythms breaks! Your title is very funny !!!
excellant composition superb colour choice
Dit is een Juweeltje.
An extraordinary fractal! Black Dalhia... this title "sounds" good to the ears! ;) And certainly there is a lot of fantasy in your mind! :)
superlative, intriguing image!
I love your beautiful dahlia with its super colouring and the title really suits it too I reckon.
I'm smiling with you, dear girl. I hope the vacuum cleaner is also smiling. Black Dahlia? Well, there is a dahlia that is almost black. And black is the mixing of all colours together, so even if your image were really black instead of beautiful gold, I would still love it.
I actually own that DVD, a Brian De Palma film with Josh Hartnett and Scarlett Johansson and Hilary Swank.(also a novel by James Ellroy), it's about a most notorious murder in Californian history ... Apart from all this news - you captured the essence of the storyline of that movie IMHO, Jacomina simply elegant, BB
Nice work Mies. I also like the mosaic look. Well done
a real pleasure to explore it's many facets
OMG....What a wonderful view my friend, amazing colors, beautiful work again, congratulations!
