Description
Latin name: Galeopsis Segetum.
Dutch name: Bleekgele Hennepnetel.
Walking through our garden, looking to photograph different things,
something suddenly cried out: "HELLO".
It was a nettle.
Red and wet.
You didn't scared me, little pretty,
I was pleasantly surprised.
Do you see that big mouth wide open,
with eyes observing everything?
The long lashes with mascara.
Oh, isn't it a pretty thing?
Again "I thank you",
I will never, ever forget!

XD precious shot!
It's wearing VERY large eyelashes!! Super find and pic, Mies!
Wonderful photo Mies, it really is a sight to behold at this stage
A prickly composition and a wonderful capture! :)
Fantastic capture Mies! This is amazing. We have stinging nettles around here, if you touch them it leaves you feeling very itchy and uncomfortable for about 1/2 hour. Are those ones you have there like that too?
EXCELLENT close-up, I like your words !

TERRIFIC SHOT
A super capture of this very pretty little nettle. Those thorns look very sharp too I hope they didn't hurt you.
do look like a face of a Fomorian Giant up to no good. this is wonderful
As I scrolled down I thought of baby birds with their mouths wide open for Momma. She would have to be very careful to feed this brood. Beautiful shot! Wonderful, detail, color, and light! I love the difference in the colors of the eyelashes in the shade and in the sun. The girl in the shade has used mascara. Beautiful light shining through the leaves, and setting the thorns alight! Excellent capture!
Your works are all spectacular, dear Mies! You do see always new things! Wonderful photo and colours! :)
Autumn seems to have arrived in your end of the world - the colours are really reflecting the mood of the season ... and we are enjoying spring - it would be great to have a time capsule and you could pick the season where ever you would like to be at. very vibrant Jacomina and take care, BB
