Description
Heading for Space.
Heading for space on its first test flight is the AS America, the first in a new generation of light weight and fuel efficient Advanced Space-Shuttles developed by NASA to get its astronauts and supplies into space.
Without the need for the complex launch systems which have had to be used in the past (VAB, External Tank, SRBs and Launch Pad) NASA will be able to keep up a near constant flow of launches of the Advanced Space-Shuttle whilst leaving the Vehicle Assembly Building and launch pad facilities free for use by the Hercules Super Booster and its Cocoon Cargo Carrier.
