Description
Red Admiral
Vanessa Atalanta
In this photo I liked it, you see the drawings on his body and wings well.
I also liked that purple Aster petal, 'looks' right between his hind wings.
This shot is from about 2 weeks ago. This, I can not imagine, when the sun is gone and there is only cold and rain nowadays.
Thank you very much for your attentions (in many ways), wishing you all a lovely Sunday!
Stay well my friends, have fun by shooting and by design your beautiful artwork.
See-you ;D

precious ^^ a great sunday for you too dear¡
We still have sunshine and I saw one yesterday! I wish you a peaceful day, Mies.
Good close up
a very beautiful picture!!!!!
wonderful butterfly ( my favorite species) and great shot !
Prachtig schot.
wonderful butterfly mies !
Another beauty. Glorious colours in here too. I wonder where he is now? You have a lovely weekend - or what is left of it:-)
Lovely shot Mies, this butterfly is so photogenic.
Prachtige vangen Mies. U lijken te vinden van de beste foto's. Ik denk dat het is omdat u zo een soort ziel die de beestjes graag poseren voor u in plaats van vliegen weg in angst wanneer je deze benadert. Gorgeous capture Mies. You seem to find the best shots. I think it is because you are such a kind soul the critters just like to pose for you instead of flying away in fear when you approach.
I understand Mies, but you know that without rain, then you might not have your beautiful butterflies and your flower beds! SPLENDID natural world !
beautiful!
Great capture and spòendid shot ! Wonderful butterfly ! Think, dear Mies, who the day before going to Brescia could not photograph it because I rested at the head (5 times, maybe I had mistaken for a flower?)
Stunning capture .Beautiful butterfly and details ,,ciao..
wonder of natuer
Wonderful close-up!!!
Beautiful butterfly and capture! I love how he has taken total possession of this flower with only bits of it showing. Wonderful light, framing his wings and antennae, and decorating the purple Aster in the bottom corner. Excellent shot!
Such a beautiful capture Mies, have missed your wonderful gallery the last few days but will catch up this week. Wally
Wonderful close up. 5*
Beautiful capture! The lovely colors of the petals do make a nice contrast with the colors in the butterfly. :)

Beautiful capture!
It is a beautiful capture and the little mauve petal makes an added splash of colour. Your capture really shows the details of his wings so well.
A wonderful shot. I like the way the butterfly frames the flower.
