Description
Getting into that highly venerated Halloween mood.
Captured 10/15/10, in the Spider Pavilion on the beautiful grounds of the beautiful Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History in Los Angeles.
Original on top.
Much better viewed full size.
This dapper specimen dosen't have hairy knees like the ones shown previously.
My faves are #2 and #3.
Toodles, thankx for looking in, and for any and all complimentary comments and favs.

What a great creature! She is definitely quite Halloweeny!
I like #2 best :) It should be a puzzle. Nice work Harry.
I like Two and Three! Two the best...very cool Harry! Looks like your having fun!:-)
Great, reminds me I should play around more with my photos
What fun.. I hate to say the kind of spider I saw today a black widow out in my yard, I had noticed my neighbor put this plastic tray at a gate of a fence we share, we built the gate years ago when our kids all met and it gave them an easy way to go through to each others yard, well when I lifted it there was a huge black widow underneath.. and NO I did not get any pictures. I quietly walked away... :)
I especially like the colorful one on the bottom of this spider showcase.
cool work
Incredible collage Harry. The original is wellcaught but the textures in #2 just grabbed my brain. Gorgeous! I have to admit that #4 made me laugh. Dana
I like all of these, and especially the last one; a much less scary spider than the hairy one! Great work, Harry!
Whoa! That long legged one is just tooooo darn freaky, Harry! Cool work all them.. I'm sure I got a Zoo Spider snap buried some place! Rob
I like the bottom one! Great collage and display of different filters Harry! Well done!
I like the #2, Something about the filter made that one jump out! Great captures and collage.
2 and 4 for me. What an interesting spider! His head(?) looks so angular. Wonderful capture and postwork! #2 is my fav, for the texture and the way it stands out. # 4 made me laugh too. I think he's had a wild night and is regretting it. Actually # 5 could be a little later, when he is just tired. wrung out, and faded. He is obviously a party animal. Excellent shots!
These are great! #4 looks like he is treading water.... lol
