wonderful photos and hipo!!
Inch by inch step by step. Excellent captures. :)
LOL! Great action series of this water horse! I've never seen them at the zoo do anything other than stand on the edge of the water with the sun behind them, not a very good recipe for a portrait!
Wooooo! Exciting! very good series!
Great capture! They can run very fast, a fact which has caught many human by surprise - can turn very nasty indeed. Great motion collage, Clive
Great captures!
Nice sequence, Bill.
Shouldn't go back Bill, he's got the measure of you!! Great shots.
wonderful collage! fantastic lighting!
Super shots Bill ! And I can imagine the sound :-D
Superb images Bill! What fantastic and incredible lighting! The series is lovely! He's so happy in his environment… such a lovely glisten of the water… extremely peaceful and the clarity is astounding! A great find and capture, my Friend!
Niagra Falls! :P I think I like the middle shot best. Water disturbance and eye movement tells the story. Great sequence!
Excellent posting, Bill. I like it.
Very dangerous creature the hippo!! It kills more people in Africa every year than the Big 5 combined! Stunning collage of image Bill! Love it!
A good friend waiting for you
So awesome, the multiple views in one image! :)
very nice hippo collage
Wow! What a series. Seems like he didn't like being photographed. :) I like the upper image best as it gives an idea of how massive this fellow is, and a good look at the eye and ears. The lower photo almost conveys "Come nearer, if you dare!" Beautifu work! :)
Gorgeous photo here, amazing capture! Congratulations!
Excellent capture Hugs Susan~
Superb collage Bill, not an animal to get close to. ~~*****~~
LOL @ Tara - Niagra Falls.... I remember that old Stooges routine... Bill, I think this hippo was thinking "I'd eat you if I wasn't a vegetarian.." But you got some great shots here! When I try that, they usually point the other end at me.... "Here - take a picture of this..." Excellent!
belle bete!!
Nice shot Bill. A huge and beautiful creature.
Stellar light and shadow effects in this collage of the hippopotamus playing submarine or Navy Seal, Bill. And I thought you were on your way to Kansas. You probably posted this from your laptop in some motel room in Colorado.
"Slowly I turned, step by step, inch by inch..." I remember those words. :-) Niagara Falls... Great shots.
sweet capture smiles warm hugs, Linda
