Andrea I tried to work with BALL POINT, as you suggested. I sooo missed my UNDO rubber LOL !
Made the pots a bit too dark in some places, but what the heck :-) Still it was interesting. Soon I will try out the fineliners too.

We have cool but sunny weather this morning and I watched the morning sun begin its play over the currantfield. Lovely sight.

Now, since I can't claim drawing as a present skill-set of mine, I can only say these look great...but I do know that I always wanted an eraser when I used to write things by hand ages ago:-) Like this a lot.
Balancing the curves is a difficult art. But - success! Congrats!
