Description
I was walking along the river bar a ways back and spotted this chair. It looked like it had been there a while, and it certainly needed to be sat upon. I did just that, sat for a while and listened.

Ya know, my friend, Tanya did just the same thing, only it was in a 3-legged chair. She didn't realize that until she got a very good view of the sky directly above. And Tanya, being Tanya, just laid there with her feet pointing up in the air and watched the clouds for a while. THIS is a far more suitable chair for sitting and observing in when those random Zen moments come on, and this is a marvelous picture as well. I love the fact that it's a festive riot of detail and contrast all heightened by being in black and white. This is a cool shot!
cool shot of this
Nice shot of this chair on the beach.. glad you were able to rest...
excellent in b/w
I've never really trusted this design.... Great image.
Something so poignant about an empty chair...wonderful capture!
I'm with Andrea on that design thing ... I always feel a bit uneasy sitting in one of those. Aside from that ... LOVE the image! This is great in b&w. And it's #1900 ... Congratulations!
What, 1900??? How do you expect us to keep up with you? Neat image...always like B&W.
Love the shot... and yeah - the design is not my fav! LOL @ Chip's comment!
WONDERFUL B/W!
Like the high contrast B&W, suits the subject perfectly.
Stark clarity and light and shadow contrast in this New Mexico outback type setting, Marilyn. I hope you brushed off the chair before you sat down.
B&W works well on this old abandoned chair. Big difference from your previous post. Dana
