Description
Boston has many ways to see the historical sites from amphibious ducks, bus tours, and trolley cars to guided walking tours. This young man, dressed in period clothing, was willing to walk and talk you through the highlights of Boston’s history on a 90 minute tour. I didn’t ask the price. Taken yesterday morning.
To those that commented on Boston’s Teapot on yesterday’s post: The giant tea kettle hung at the old Oriental Tea Company for many years. It was manufactured, in 1873, by Hicks & Badger. The sign was moved, to varying locations, as older buildings were torn down. I first saw it in the late 1940s and since then it has stayed in the general area.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated.

Great capture! about the only thing that would ruin this picture or the presence would be the cell phone or PDA.... Wonderful
Lovely shot Dana. The next time you see him tell him to polish his shoes!! Lol.
A great job for the college holidays!
I would love to have a walk with him and learn about the historic marvels of Boston, a great shot!
Very nice capture. :)
Great capture!
What an interesting job he has!! LOVE Boston...and yet have seen so little of the historic sites...have been to Paul Revere's house and the Old North Church, but would love to see more of the historic sites. If I could only get Mike out of NH for a day, LOL....he HATES cities. Like I tell him I'm not asking him to MOVE to Boston, just visit, LOL.

Ten o'clock, and all's well! Reminded me of the town crier -- who had a bell -- when I first saw this wonderful snap, Dana. Stellar lighting effects in this shot.
Are you sure he's not one of them Tea Party guys. ;D Excellent capture!
A lovely capture of this interesting looking guide. I hope he gets lots of people on his tours.
Beautiful shot
Hi Dana, wonderful pictures of Boston in your gallery. Boston is very well known here in Europe and in Germany. And so it is funny, to see your pics of this great town. To Boston I have a special relationship. My little dog Adele is a Boston-Terrier. A sort of dog, not often seen here in Germany. But I know, this race came from Boston in the nineteenth century. Adele is a wonderful dog. The Bostonians, isn´t it a novel by Henry James too? I love this book - naturally in german translation. All the best from Germany, Bernd
