An engine my son said he "really, really wanted" and was going to use. That was years ago--so it's mine now and I'm using it MY way!!!

LOL! Well, I know it's been there since I've known you ... that's plenty long enough for him to have taken it out of there if he wanted it! :) Besides ... if he changes his mind, you can just knock the dirt out. A little sandblasting and some rustoleum, and it'll be good as new! :)

Wonderful photo of this small block. No need to worry about restoration, as nature is reclaiming it for you. Most four stroke engines rely on 'SUCK-SQUEEZE-BANG-BLOW' for them to work, I sense a more leisurely organic approach from this now silent motor.
