Description
Another part of Arts Alive Saturday night. This man is there every month, playing his accordion. What's most unusual is the music he plays. Not your usual polka or traditional accordion stuff--this guy ROCKS--I've heard the Beatles, the Stones, Dylan,, Pink Floyd, all kinds of great tunes. Part of what makes this monthly event so much fun!!

At least he is happy doing what he is doing lol, Nice shot..
love the handle bars
Lovely shots.
Sweet! They look so hard to play. I always wonder why someone chooses to learn the accordion over something cool like a geeeeetar or sax! Good on him for being an individual!
What a tach!
Accordians aren't just for polka any more! LOL! There are a number of bands these days that use accordians in their rock music. Gogol Bordello springs immediately to mind, and I could come up with a few more if you want. Remind me to have you listen! :) These are great shots. He's certainly got a thing going!
The moustache is superb...and how does anyone ever learn which buttons and keys to touch when? Can you tell I was a grade school band dropout?
Great work, very interesting, thx for sharing
Exceptional moustache he sports! One can feel the dedication in what he does - well portrayed.
Love that mustache! Cool sequence of photos in this musical collage, Maz!
wonderful shots
nice collage, like his Dali moustache
Great collage and he looks like he is having so much fun and that is all thats counts. Dana
You know, when I think of accordion music, I think Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds in Czech. Yeah, played on accordion and vaguely recognizable...sort of. And then, I also think of Gogol Bordello or the Gypsy Punks (Gogol Bordello with a different name) and well...what's not to like about accordion rock. Now if this guy plays "Start Wearing Purple" (not actually an accordion-based song,) I'll be immensely impressed with him...which is kinda funny since I'm already impressed. I love the complicated not-so-traditional handlebar mustache too. He has nice eyes, and it definitely looks as if he's having a ball, which also means that it's fun to listen to him. Great shots! I love these slices of vibrant life!
