Description
Any chicken experts out there?
Can you name this breed? I think it is a Plymouth Rock but I could be wrong. I didn't see a sign.
This handsome bird was in a fancy chicken house in a garden on the Whidbey Island garden tour back in July. Of the four gardens we visited three gardens had chickens.
I've been missing from your galleries for at least ten days. I've been back in Kansas preparing a house for future rental. Hope to get my comments flowing again from this day forward.
I've missed my daily Rendo fix:-)))

P.S. Worth a zoom.

Like most my knowledge stretches as far as the nearest KFC... Well done on getting such a crisp, clear portrait! Clive
OUTSTANDING!!!
That's a stunning portrait of a really pretty bird! Awesome photo, Bill! Now, I'm hungry, of course... Welcome back to landlubber's paradise, if only for a while! LOL! Hope all goes well with the house!
Handsome chicken portrait. They all taste the same so I don’t know either although Tara’s ID sounds good to me. Dana
Excellent closeup capture! :)
What's this? what has Tara let slip..."your mastery of cloning" what fowl deeds are afoot ?.. :) Stella clarity here Bill, whatever you have done, the result is striking. (Welcome back.)
Love this one Bill!
What a stunning capture of this little chook. I used to have chickens when we were on the farm and I miss them a lot. You sound to have been busy.
Couldn't tell you mate but incredible detail! Well done! Rob
