Description
This is one of my new ideas. Sumi-e bamboo painting.
It is my secend attempt on doing it the right way.
I once posted som bamboo, but they were made without knowing anything about how to paint them.
Now I have seen severel videos on Youtube and I find it deep fascinating to do. :-) Although I havent YET got the real brush or ink for it, I think the result isnt that bad :-) What do you think?
Have a beautiful day.
We have calm, cloudy, but not too cool weather today.
Thank you so much for viewing and commenting on my previous post and special warm thanks go to those, who added it to their favorites. :)

Really beautiful work! And very nicely done! I've played with this technique a bit too (one of my projects in a college art class), but it didn't turn out HALF as nice as this.
hey you are great! wonderful drawing!
Beautiful!!
Good morning, Helle, what a surprise in the morning. What a lovely image. I like it soo much and you´ve done it so good. Make more of them please. I like chinese and japanese paintings. They are so good in their special own way. Your pic is well done and a picture for the wall. All the best, Bernd
What a WONDERFUL result, Helle!! I really admire you for achieving this. I cannot do it for the life of me, except on a pot with oxides on a glaze.
I think this looks SPECTACULAR!! WOW! I love this! :-)
Nice render.

Oh my ... this is just lovely, Helle! Gorgeous work. I'm quite impressed! Now I wonder how it would be in ArtRage. (Of course the number of things I want to try in ArtRage is absolutely endless! LOL! I'll have to retire.) :P
excellent artwork my friend
Beautiful artwork!
非常漂亮，作为一名中国人，能看到外国人作出如此精美的中国画，我非常敬佩您的艺术才能。祝福您好运。 ：）
I think that you are a natural artist, and whatever you attempt artwise usually is amazing. Wish I could translate what luoyx2008 said about this, that would be interesting. Very well done Helle, hugs Jane xx
Velly nice velly clever and glate in black and white. Hah!
Excellent work !
Very beautiful, - love the lightness of the painting ;o))))))))))
Oh, Helle! This is lovely! It has such beautiful simplicity and grace! It really strikes home with me, not only because I love bamboo, but also because I've been attempting lately to bring some simplicity into my own life. Get rid of some of the clutter and allow the important things of life room to breath. This embodies that way of being. I really love it!
Beautifully done. Looks very professional.
Excellent composition and work on this! Bamboo is always fascinating to see in an image. :)
ohhhh Helle! this is really a fantastic work of art!!!!!!! I love bamboo - and I love your picture!

Superb work! I like it!
I think you have made a wonderful job of this it looks very oriental and is so well done.
What a gorgeous piece of work! I agree, you are a natural! It's one thing to "dabble" with something new, but something completely different to do what you have done and make an exquisitely beautiful piece of work! This is super!
oh I like it a lot, Helle! keep it on!
Wow, Helle...you've done such a fine job. I got fascinated with the comment in Chinese and used my google translater to find out what he said: "Very beautiful, as a Chinese person, can see a foreigner in China to make such a beautiful painting, I admire your artistic talent. Wish you good luck."
Beautiful style & superbly drawn
Elegant painting!
