Description
The 520-Montlake interchange as seen from Marsh Island at the Arboretum.
All the pilings and various levels of roadways made me think of weaving.
It was nearly black and white even in color ... a perfect choice for a bit of filter fiddling!

Excellent capture! I agree with your assessment on both counts!
Perfect for B&W - a very interesting structure! Clive
How complex! This is so very interesting, and very beautiful in monochrome.
excellent in b/w
It is simply gorgeous Tara. Wonderful and soft and the b/w is perfect to it.
Good work Tara! Intriguing! Love the colouring ....or lack of! Rob
realy beautiful
Your artist's eye for composition and your postworking skills for presentation...wonderful result.
belle photo!!
Beautiful image!!
Oh, nicely done! It's a great place for this kind of shot...and you did fantastically!
Even the concrete jungle has its own beauty. Great capture and postwork, Tara.
I love artificial things that take on their own beauty. This is the perfect example! I love the treatment of this photo as well...the filter work and the subtle tweaks really give this a distinct vibe more literary than literal. Yeah, I like this a lot! Quite a lot! And the title made me think of Star Trek. Warp would be...well...engaging the warp engines, and weft would be (though they've never said so) putting on the breaks and dropping out of warp...hmmm...my mind goes off in weird directions at times. Oh well...at least a great picture inspired it, rather than something totally mundane like some stupid commercial on the radio.
I would to wander around there..it looks wonderful ! lovely shot
cool capture stares back at me smiles have a wonderful weekend warm hugs, Linda Kaye
Once again you prove that there are artistic angles to even the most commonplace things. True art, Tara!
Fantastic shot, I like the monochrome tones.
Didn't notice that there were three bridges in this wonderful capture. Nicely seen. Dana
