Description
.....The laws of physics as we understand them cease to exist. Planets, asteroids, spaceships, even stars will be ripped asunder by the inexorable gravity of the black hole. Your body will be stretched like a rubber band, if falling feet-first, the gravity at your feet will be more intense than at your head. You will be drawn into a stringlike fiber, and even the very atoms of your body will be torn apart. Everything - even light - will fall into the singularity, never to be seen again.
However, according to Dr. Stephen Hawking, the information contained in whatever is consumed by the black hole still remains. Curious, that concept. Is the black hole, then, a destroyer of matter, or a portal to another universe?
This is my first foray into fooling around with Mandelbub 3D. I've only been fiddling with this mandelbubbery for a couple hours, so I really don't know what the heck I'm doing, yet. But this render brought to mind a black hole, so I just went with it, and added a few layers in Photoshop.
Page 9 of the TNA Gals is in progress.
Thanks everyone, for all your support, comments, ratings and faves! It means a lot!

Excellent work, Rod! I like what you've done here
Wow Rod! This is a fantastic sci fi bend to this fractal! Really fabulous!!
TRIPLE GORGEOUS
WOw!! Very cool Rod!!! You did a spectacular job!:-)
cool image rod, this is a fantastic looing image, full of color and beauty, very interesting work. great job my friend.
WOW....Amazing explosion and a priceless tile Rob, loved the colors, this is really a superb view! Thank you!
WE NEED DOCTOR WHO, QUICK!!! Cool fractal Rod. Where'd you get Madelbulb?
Very cool image. I'm of the opinion that the black hole holds the matter inside until it is full, then releases it in a powerful explosion.
wow...that's cool!
So if I throw my #$$%#@@& computer, which has $%#@ abilty to render my Poser scenes. And even less @#$&% ability to render while surffing the web into this black hole, it's very atoms will be torn apart but my RAM will be intact??? Free from the bonds that is my $%&**# computer??? I bet it might work a bit better then. Get me to one of these black holes. Great work buddy.
Very impressive render.
...'matter' cannot be destroyed.....lol...anyways... before I babble on!, super first attempt with fractals, I'm new at it to, it really is a growing and fascinating medium/ art form!. 5++ for awesome render and concept!
That's a nice fractal, Rod. It also reminds me of the fourth of July without the sparkles, just burned debris. Great work, my friend!
Fantastic! Corrie
Wow Rod I would hate to fall into this black hole and be stretched like a rubber band, lol. Lovely fractal design and colours.. Excellent posting mate, Barry
Very beautiful & impressive artwork! Hug’s Ute
excellent
yeah keep em coming and the thoughts are very fine ,me for myself would go for another universe.
May I suggest that you might consider consigning Bigg Pigg to being sucked into this black hole...I can see him stretched into a long fiber as his feet are pulled in quicker than his pig head...heh, heh...:) Like this Rod and look forward to what else you can do with it.
That's actually quite cool looking. I've always thought that black holes were a perfect metaphor for death...complete annihilation and oblivion.
belle image!!
I know squat about fractals, but this is really cool! Ever watch Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda a few years back? The captain of a ship, and his ship, were caught on the event horizon of a black hole. Too far out to be pulled in straightaway, but nevertheless being drawn inexorably toward that end. He was frozen in time for just over 300 years as he and his ship teetered on the brink. Our hero is pulled from the black hole by a salvage ship, and the fun begins. It's a good story!
