Hi, everyone!
I'm posting another photo from my recent Florida trip. I photographed this ibis at Gatorland, near Orlando, Florida. These guys were all over the place - in Kansas City we have pigeons, in Florida they have ibises, herons, and pelicans. This one posed patiently for me.
I also wanted to update all my Rendo friends...
My new position at my job has kept me pretty busy. With 20 machines running 24/7 over 3 shifts, it's a lot of work. Right now, I'm still in an on-the-job training mode, and am working evening shift. I really don't like evening or night shifts - I just can't get much done other than sleeping and working, so I have fallen behind on commenting and posting. I'll be on days next week, so hopefully I can get caught up a bit. I'm still working on the TNA series when I have a few minutes to spare.
Hopefully things will calm down a bit soon, and I can get back to posting and commenting a little more often.

WOW Rod! This is an EXCELLENT photo! I LOVE the contrast between the white of the Ibis and the green of the background. A nice sharp image. Get your rest buddy. Hope to see a TNA image from you when you are more rested.

What a great-looking bird! The green environment really sets it off nicely. I'm glad to hear things are progressing as they should! Evenings are a PIA, but this, too, shall pass. I'm looking forward to more TNA from you! :P

I first encountered an Ibis in my kids' childrens books 35 years ago...and now here is a real one! Great shot... Will you be rotating nights, days, evenings or is this just to get you as the new guy to meet everybody and see all positions of the sun? LOL. Know it is good to be home:)

I hear you Rod, 2nd and 3rd shifts are the pits. I like 3rd better than 2nd though. Hang in there buddy, hopefully things will calm down a bit soon.

I hear you Rod, shift work sucks period, especially in 24/7 plants. Hopefully it is not a career long comittment. Great shot of the Ibis. It's pure white colors stand out so well against the dark background. And the slightly out of focus shrubs help too.
