Description
Double O Arch is the second largest arch, after Landscape Arch of course, within the Devils Garden area of Arches National Park in Utah, USA. As the name implies, there are two arches here, one large, with a span of 71 feet, stacked atop a much smaller arch with a 21-foot span. Both are part of the same sandstone fin. I caught an adult, in the upper arch, for perspective. Double O Arch is located at the far end of the Devils Garden Primitive Loop, 1.93 miles past the Devils Garden trailhead and parking lot at the north end of the Arches Entrance Road. A 1996 photo recently scanned. Info from UTAH.COM

Wonderful capture. Nice to see the person there for scale! (is he Pisces?)
Excellent POV on this wonderful capture!
Another gorgeous view!
wonderful place!!!
Terrific POV of this awesome arch, Dana. I don't know much about geology, but it is amazing that this is a natural formation, although a collision, water or wind erosion may have created the hole.
Marvelous perspective here Dana, a perfect shot!
Another wonderful shot!!
Geology can be such an astonishing thing and this image proves it! Again, you capture details and a real sense of grandeur. This is magnificent!
A STUNNING shot, Dana! The person gives it thescale that I often find it so hard to grasp in landscapes of this sort.
