very nice flower and details
Beautiful pic, Bill, and I love that list of names! I've never bothered to wear gloves for these, but I got a stonking rash from a Grevillia, which has now gone to the giant shredder in the sky!
I love foxglove and like durleybeachbum I love the names I have never bothered with gloves either.........mostly I don't try and get too close.....Let hubby do it for me.......he wears the gloves......need too grow some this year Love that color Hugs Susan~
splendid shot!
I think foxgloves are up there in the list of beautiful flowers. Great capture and thanks for the list of other names
wonderful shot
Lovely shot of these beauties, Bill! Didn't know these flowers were quite so nasty, though.
Beautiful shot..lovely color!!
I love the spots and their little hairy chins...lovely capture!
Supreme colors, focus, detail and composition in this fine macro of the foxglove plant, Bill. The innards of the blooms look like tiny pieces of chocolate cookies floating in a milky froth.
Beautiful capture....
A lovely capture that really shows it off beautifully.
very fine flower and very good photo!!
Nice looking flower Bill didn't know that they had a nasty bite though, will have to store that info in the back of the old brain, (then promptly forget it).. lol..
Beautiful flower, color and lighting as always water droplets add a very nice touch!
they do have a nasty side, don't they. but they also somehow make digitalis, which is a powerful heart medicine, so I guess they redeem themselves fairly well!! great shot!!
Beautiful flowers. Great image!!
A wonderful flower and shot and lovely colors. My neigbour had it this summer, but they seem to be gone now, maybe because their grandchildren were suppose to come on vacation.
Lovely shot Bill.
Incredibly detailed close-up Bill.. Wonderful colours and shot.. But don't eat...Very poisonous I gather! Rob
A beauty, Bill!
I always wear gloves in the garden, but have had more of an adverse skin reaction to horsetails than to foxglove. In general, I just make it a practice to not lick anything that's growing in the garden. LOL! This is a wonderful shot ... I love foxglove!
wonderful flower! GREAT photo!
Beautifully composed and captured. :)
Beautiful photo.
They are so pretty, like little Faes hats!!!!
Excellent DOF and macro of these beauties! This is one of them flowers that need a sign. Look, but do not touch! :)
Very good close up
