Description
This is the same dragonfly as the one in my previous upload, "It's a Dragonfly". I just zoomed, by stepping closer :). I cropped this instead of re-sizing.
I am heading to Newport Beach for the night... Yay! See ya soon.
Have a great rest of the week.
Hugs,
~Melinda~

GENIAL AMIGO, HARE PRUEBAS COM MI REBEL 550D Y MI 90 MM DE OLYMPUS. ME ENCANTA.
Whoa, great closeup!!!!!
I absolutely hate insects, but there's something quite nice about this photograph.
The stuff of nightmares...only kidding. This is great and puts us seeing eye to eye with your dragonfly...wow.
Wow Melinda, This is fantastic! I love Blue and the Green Darners the most, all dragonflies fascinate me. I have a slight case of camera envy, my Cannon PowerShot A 630 just doesn't cut the mustard. I like how you describe how you take your shots! Have a great time at Newport Beach tonight, hope you're taking a camera!
Absolutely amazing.
Melinda, you've done a fantastic job with this close-up. though it appears that he needs to shave, he's got a heck of a 5 O'Clock Shadow going on there. Have fun at Newport!
wow, fantastic macro closeup .. Excellent shot
Super close up!
Although the weirdest dragonfly I've ever seen, this is an amazing macro, Melinda. It seems a bit startled in this shot.
This is super work Melinda.
SPLENDID close-up...portrait of an alien ?(smiles)
Quite a creature — amazing shot!
fantastic macro !!!
superbe portrait!
fantastic!!!!!
This is absolutely FANTASTIC! get him to shave next time before his big shoot! lol! Great image!
Wow..interesting macro!!
Excellent detail!
Very well done!
Incredible shot... Lots of dragon flies in the gallery lately must be that time of year. lol I've taken some but never posted them..
excellent macro.can not get closer
What a stunning, absolutely gorgeous job you did with this. I also find that cropping rather than zooming works wonders! I really admire the clarity of this and the intense details you've captured. Dragonflies are such gorgeous creatures, but their faces are often very hard to discern--they always look like grinning helicopters to me and so seeing this really puts that grinning helicopter expression they commonly wear into a fresh, new perspective. This is a gorgeous shot, and this is one of the many reasons why I love insects. You just don't get beauty like this outside of the insect world. You get beauty, absolutely, but not like this and this is amazing!
Fantastic detail in this macro capture and even more so in zoom mode. Dana.
SO Cooool!!!! Love that eye!!
