Very beautiful work! I'm thinking of 'Hell's Bells' AC/DC! Excellent. I miss Ute as well
Beautiful gothic portrait Steve! Even in portraits you manage to include wonderful little details! Super work, my friend!
When I read the title, I wondered, ok is he referencing Hemmingway or Donne. Then I see we all know Metalica. LOL Ok well I always liked Donne bit of prose. No man is an island, Entire of itself. Each is a piece of the continent, A part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less. As well as if a promontory were. As well as if a manner of thine own Or of thine friend's were. Each man's death diminishes me, For I am involved in mankind. Therefore, send not to know For whom the bell tolls, It tolls for thee.
great portrait

Awesome work, Steve! Wow - she's a cutie! Superb!
Excellent work Steve. I miss Ute as well. She was a great artist.
thought that was a bloody nose, I had to sit up - lol... It's the mark of a werewolf, is it a full moon? It's sad to read names that were so big in the community but are no longer. I didn't have your friend on my fave list, but I knew her name.... I went nuts when I first got here and started faving all these artists - lol I'd have to say 90% are still here of the ones I faved... that's why I didn't get around to making her a fave - I just collected too many too fast. I spent the majority of my day after work commenting - some of my favorite artists are doing 3 uploads a day now ... it get's brutal.
Love it! Schonee has some of my favorite BGs!! You put her to great use...someone else said before...but LOVE the ghostie over her shoulder!!
