Description
After spending several hours shopping on the Ginza it was time for lunch. While all of us were looking forward to a hearty meal of seaweed and rice we came across a unique restaurant, the only one of it’s kind in Japan at the time, and just had to sample the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed my five-dollar Big Mac. Five dollars for a hamburger! Have you ever heard of anything so ridiculous in your life? Sure glad we don’t have those prices here in the U.S. {:-0

Uhuh! you haven't eaten at Burgerville have you? or Carl's Jr. Great capture, Mark!
Mackuhdonalds! The westerners are rather noticeable aren't they. Excellent shot! I love seeing the mixture of western brands looking a little unlike themselves. Did you eat at places where you pointed at the plastic food in the window? How about the shaved ice with baked beans? I'm sure it wasn't really baked beans, but I never got the nerve to ask. Excellent shot! Wonderful color and capture of a very Japanese scene, even with the borrowed western icon.
Give me the seaweed any day! I get a bloated and sick feeling just looking at the logo!
ici ou ailleurs, ils sont partout!!bonne photo!!
cool shot .. !
Wonderful color and capture !
Now that is ...well I'm speechless. :-) It just doesn't fit...like a square peg in a round hole... Nice shot.
AWESOME IMAGE, A GREAT SHOT
What? You went there with all the wonderful cuisine and ended up eating expensive dog food? LOL. Like they need a stylized American flag over the golden arches to let Americans know it's save to eat. Great scene and story.
I like the apple pies the deep fried ones ones they use to make wonderful capture warm hugs, Linda
Great image Mark... I guesw it was a bit comforting and odd,to see this while so far a way from home.
