Description
here is the 20MM gun as you see it far smaller than the 40MM guns. but just as deadly. This was taken on the USS Kidd. It looked small from the top of the level but once on the ship it is big.
I was going to show the bidge photos first then the ship photos and other photos of the day. I do not know which ones to post lol. bridge or guns and things on the ship?? You help me pick ok
thanks for looking and comments and votes too
yes i know the bridge is the way it is for the photo was over expose. hard to get shots in hot afternoon; clouds moveing around and all too

Great capture!
I think it is a great shot! Wonderful capture
explicite shot ! thanks for infos !
Actually the bridge being burned out like it is adds a lot to this shot. Very nicely done.
Excellent shot.
great foto.
Both !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (INTO THE CONCEPT FILE THIS GOES)
Very interesting capture Jocko, well done !
Great capture!
Just say the bridge is "high key"...we will all be impressed:-) I am for seeing the ship myself.
Not exactly the Guns of Navarrone, but most impressive, nevertheless, Jock. Interesting the way the bridge seems to blur out in the heat.
Very nice shot, well done...
WOW....Amazing shot again, well done!
I am not well versed on weapons but I am a Texan so I have some deep interest. I know something I want to shoot when I see it. :-) Fabulous shot!
Impressive gun... great shot too!!
nice image :)
Great photo Jock, and your right they may be smaller but they still pack one heck of a punch
yeah you are right i think i will install that one then on my roof.
I see guns like this and I think of my favorite tv show Battlestar Galactica the updated and reimagined version, though I like the classic version too...for different reasons. But anyway, this reminds me of that for all of the gritty, military detail, and this is another great shot. I actually like the bridge exposure...it adds a certain element to this photo that renders it more dream like. I tend to be a big fan of dreamy stuff for some reason. This is another great shot, and yeah, I'd love to see more of...well...anything you managed to capture on or around this boat.
Cool POV on this capture
Hehehe - Make love, not war!!!
Cool and heavy piece, Jock!!!
Ace photo Jock!! Love the contrast between the sharp focus of the rope and blocks against the overexposed bridge in the background :)
Another impressive photo of this series my friend......!!!!
Yes, definitely - will keep the pterodactyls away . . . !
Another fantastic shot Jocko! I'm looking forward to the rest of these, in whatever order you decide to post them!

Now with this you can shoot on all the oil boat :)
Very nice image and POV. Great capture!
