Description

That 3 years ago when we lost Hattie, we lost Rupert on the same day. My only consolation is that that are buried together. Rupert didn't really like me too much he was more a mans cat. All I wanted was to cuddle him but he would have none of it & really go spacky cat :o) He did like to be hoovered though :o) & every morning when I did the stairs, he would go up every step one at a time & I had to put the nozzle of the hoover over him :o) Daft puss cat.

How horrible that you lost them both on the same day. I'm very sorry. Beautiful images and fun memories. You have him on the step, like he is waiting to be hoovered. We had a cat that was terrified of the vacuum cleaner. Being the mean little girls we were, we draped it around his food dish one time to see what he would do. He circled it very warily, made a couple of halfhearted feints towards it, and sat back and looked at his food wistfully and at us reproachfully. We weren't that mean and only left it there for a minute. Rupert was beautiful! Lovely collage!

Barbara, I am so sorry you had to experience losing two fur babies like that on the same day. Even though he was a man's cat I'm sure he loved you very much.

Both on the same day must have been so devastating - hard to imagine really. One of our dogs, Bos, loved to be hoovered, and he loved the hairdryer after his bath. I'll scan one of his photos some day and post it in my gallery

Awww...what a sweet kitty. Love the ones of him stretched out on the bed, especially with the one with his head on the pillow! LOL...we also had a cat that LOVED to be vacuumed!! I couldn't clean the house unless I 'cleaned' her first.

Sorry to hear that you lost the two of them on the same day how unpleasant that must have been. We had a cat the same colour and similar markings as Rupert but it was a female, apparently, according to the vet, a female this colour is rare normally the males are this colour and the females are tortoiseshell. She was from a stray and we (my wife really) had a major job taming her as a kitten, had to keep her in the bathroom for about a month and each time my wife went in there she climbed the wall. She wouldn't come near me for about 2 years.. lol she climbed on the bed walk all the way round me not touching me to go to my wife.. My daughter and son in law have her and our other cat as we cant have them where we are they would get run over by the vehicles that scoot around here.

Oh Barb, how awful! I can barely stand losing one pet .. but two in one day? No one July is such a difficult month for you. That is utter devastation. Rupert was such a handsome man! I orange marmalade cats! I wish I had taken more pictures of my cat and my first dog. I've taken gazillions of photos of the three dogs we've had since. I adore cats, they are such individualists and so opinionated, yet when they love you, they really love you. The rest of the world is here mainly to do their bidding, grins.

Dearest Barbara, it must have been the most dreadful of days when you lost 2 beloved pets at the same time. My heart goes out to you, it really does. As you know I am still mourning my dearest Rags, and still waiting to get the courage to actually upload the pic I made as a tribute to him. Your wonderful funny Rupert was indeed some unusual cat, wanting to be hoovered???? so funny, hugs Janice and gang xxx
