Description
This is the most beautifully REALISTIC model I've seen on the market to date. Mec4D's Cath really has a gift for creating believable characters. I wouldn't be surprised to see them in magazines, instead of real people! I didn't 'get it' until I started using all her Python scripts and other tools then...I GOT it! :-)

very, very beautiful gal in this portrait. looks like a photo..
Really beautiful portrait! Nice realism!
She is lovely Jan, and you did a wonderful job on this portrait
Thanks, you all. The Mec4D textures fascinated me for awhile, before I got 'em. Then, when I got Magda and her twin, I said, "What? Great skin but no makeups?" Used the skin and it was remarkably realistic but I still didn't see the true value... Then I decided to read the ReadMes carefully! I followed the steps Cath laid out precisely, using her pre-made lighting and the half-gray Python script. THEN I got it! Takes awhile to render out but when I saw that first render emerging, I said, "Wow!!! I've never seen such realism in my life!" I guess it's the lighting and Python that does the trick because even the 3Dream hair looks more realistic! The Mec4D packages are definitely worth the price, if you want naturalism! And it's not just the skin...it's the other tools in the packages, too! :-) You have to use those, to get the "photograph" effect. So now...I GET it! :-))) Thank you all for the comments. They're much appreciated. I can't wait to experiment with other models, using that lighting, and see what sort of results I get. Jan
wow thanks Jan .. I used the gray value for the HDR lighting because there in Poser was not the option tone mapping as it is now in Poser Pro 2010 and Poser 2010 that allow me to create the light in regular way but the rendering settings are different to get the cool effect without changing the diffuse color.. for over one year I still use only the light that is faster as anything else .. however this weekend I am finishing something new , more simple even better effect ...plus the make-up options for Natasza-Magda with many extras I had to split it cuz was to huge for one package ... the Miss Wendy light and scene is one of my favorite , and I see a lot of artists use it around especially for the previews ....Cath
I can see why! :-) That is awesome lighting! Best I've EVER seen! Thank you SO much for commenting on this image.
