Description
From time to time a brazen, or perhaps foolish, demon chooses to make an assault on the Portal of Light. These unfortunate diabolicals are destined to meet the protector of that door to the realm of angels. It will be their first, and last, encounter with the one known only as Demon_Slayer.
You may Zoom for the details!
This image is for a real Angel, Savage_dragon, who has been a friend in helping me slay any number of 3D demons! She also gave me the Wicked Eyes that grace my Demon_Slayer. Thanks, Angel, for everything!
The production of this image had its own set of demons. I had partially constructed a scene with my Demon_Slayer and saved it a couple days ago....only to have DAZ refuse to open it. Fortunately I had saved the character in another file, and so began anew and constructed a different scene...more or less the one you see here. Then DAZ refused to render it. The scene would render for about an hour and then crash DAZ. Adjusting, and eliminating various elements, and after about 12 hours of rendering and crashing, I isolated the offending component to the Uber-environment. So I had to give up on trying to use it in this scene and tried to re-create the effect with my own lights. I think it turned out well.
Thanks for taking the time to view, and comment. I appreciate it very much.
Thanks also for comments and favs on my previous image "Guardian of the Goddess":

Your strenuous efforts were worthily rewared in the masterful work of art! A most brilliant and splendid masterpiece! Bravo on your artistic skills and your seeming infinite patience to work with DAZ and it quirkiness. I have given up on it, for now.

Fantastic picture! I always love this "Good vs Evil" fight, especially when the good guy, or in this case, girl, wins! The fallen demon and his wings are posed in such an amazing, convincing way, he's really "lying on the floor"... Great work, Marco! :)
Excellent render Marco. In addition to your fine scene...I've enjoyed reading lots of the comments above:)
