Description
I had not planned to post a picture today but I realized that today is a sort of anniversary for me. Exactly 3 years ago today, I created my first 3D picture. At least one I didn't delete and wasn't afraid to show to people. It was called "Three Friends" I'd provide a thumbnail here but I don't know how to do it.

This seemed an opportune time for me to thank everybody here at Renderosity. Your generous support and kind comments have provided me with encouragement to keep trying. So, Thank You very much your fine work inspires me to try harder.
The Pier is from Daz, the Brigade are Spoonbilled Sandpipers from Ken Gilliland's Songbird Remix Shorebirds Volume 3 and they are beautiful and rare.

Absolutely stunning! Wonderful light in the sky and on the beach. A nice touch is the light in the lighthouse. The birds are really a joy to see. I don't know why, but I have always thought that birds look so happy and contented. And these do look that way indeed. Congrats to three creative years and to this excellent image!
