Description
This is one of the fountains at a local cemetery. It's a lovely setting, but what I really want you to see are the sculptured evergreens. I hope you get a sense of what it's like walking around there. It's very quiet, of course, and it's just a nice place to hang out!
I am endlessly fascinated by the surrealistic shapes of those evergreens. At any moment I expect to see Dr. Seuss characters popping out, reciting verse!

A really lovely set of pictures.
I really like that cloud pruning..I have one little bush I was doing that with..needs a bit of care at the mo. It was a relief to see these pics, for when I opened the ebot I had a sudden dread that it was about to be Gilbert and George!

That's just amazing! Excellent photos, Tara. This just blows my mind. Those evergreens are totally cool, and yes - it certainly has that Dr. Seuss look to it. Oh, to be there with my camera. I can see about a hundred million backgrounds it that one area alone!

Marvelous landscape with a miniature Old Faithful in the middle. The evergreens look like mushrooms to me. Someone has done an enormous amount of work and it has really paid off.
This is an amazing and very unusal landscape, it has a very surreal feel to it, a bit like Hobbiton in the Hobbit by Tolkein.

A perfect place for walking
The fat cat on the mat may seem to dream of nice mice that suffice for him, or cream... Oh sorry, that's Tolkein! Marvelous collage.
A friend of mine lives near a house that has these same kinds of evergreens, sculpted into the most wonderful shapes. But seeing so many is amazing!!
