Description
All I can say is that I have survived this past week!!! Yay!!!
It was very, very hectic at work, I had (and still have) Internet connectivity problems as well as technical problems with some RR duties, my cat was snipped on Friday and has to walk around with a collar that she absolutely hates, Kayla is here for the weekend and a hand full... and the list goes on! As a result, I was terrible with commenting and I do apologize! I have looked at all your lovely works though and commented where I could!
The birdies were snapped at a garden centre quite a while ago!
Thank you for popping in and for your very valued comments and favs on my upload "Now that's a door"!
Stay well!
Hugs
Carin xx

What a beautiful and colorful troupe. A fantastic photo. I wish you that soon come back quieter times for you.
A wonderful image, great colors!!
Great colourful shot.
Is that real ?....common you've painted them haven't you ? It is a very nice photo to look at God has again dropped his box of paint on nature. His imagination is beyond what we can even dream of !
All those are boys..so heaven knows what the conversation is about! It's a most wonderful shot, and they look even better against the dark background! As for YOUR week, Carin...I can't recommend early retirement highly enough...you'd probably be far better off than you think!
really cool little flock. i love keeter's
If they are all boys the conversation must have been football, great picture!!!!!!!!
wonderful birds......I bet they had a good meeting
I love this capture Carin. The darker background makes the Budgies stand out.
Great image.
TERRIFIC, WONDERFUL IMAGE! AND TAKE IT EASY!
Great photo, I used to breed these beauty's as a kid.

Excellent shot. I love budgies:)
Beautiful parrots.Excellent photo.
I haven't seen budgies in years but don't remember them as being this colorful. Excellent capture of these guys and wonderful lighting.
Excellent capture, Carin! Things will calm down eventually, hopefully, well, maybe...
bonne photo!
A bunch of fellow Aussies from the desert :). The green ones are the natural wild colour. You should see what a flock of several hundred is like as they zip past so fast you miss the shot. And don't worry, the world cup can't last forever. I saw Andrea's retirement comment but you can't retire from Grandmother duties hehe
real cool
Gorgeous photo!
Beautiful group of parakeets – love the colors and details. Dana
Cute shot!
Oh, this is simply marvelous and it's the perfect marker for a week you've survived! I love it when you can get trophies like that! This is a gorgeous shot and the time stamp on it gives you a little reason to pat yourself on the back because it probably also marks the moment things start to get a wee bit easier! As for the shot itself, it's marvelous! Birds are such intriguing creatures and the term "bird brain" has been redefined as science has recently revealed that bird brains are a wee bit more complicated than earlier assumptions of them, so based on that wee bit of almost useless knowledge, I can assume that these guys are talking about...oh, good heavens, is that even printable? Oh, never mind! This is a fantastic shot and I love the heightened color brought out by the darkened background.
Andrea and I are in complete agreement; I bailed 5 years ago, have half the money and ten times the life!! I love this shot, reminds me of one I had years ago--my little brother wanted to see it fly, so let him out of the cage. Off we went--never to be seen again!!
