Or Jill loves Jack, or maybe John loves Justin or Judy loves Jean. It doesn't matter, someone loves someone else and wanted the world to know. I spotted this on the trail in the redwoods. It's on the end of a downed tree, and it was just one of those sights that caught my eye.

And I wonder if they still do.
I wonder how long that has been there. Maybe a week, maybe decades? Maybe they've married, lived their lives together and are now gone. Maybe they split up and have forgotten each other. But this was certainly a confluence of affection at one time.
