Description
You're gonna need an ocean
Of calamine lotion*
Not poison ivy, but poison oak, which WILL drive you crazy if you're unfortunate enough to touch it. It grows prolifically under redwood trees for some reason. Gotta watch where you walk at all times!!!
You'll be scratchin like a hound
The minute to start to mess around*

I have heard of it many times but have never seen it! Yikes - I would hate an encounter with them!!! Great shot Marilyn!
I've never known what it looked like; I know I must have seen it thousands of times, it's just fortunate that I never came in contact in my ignorance!
Well something completely new to me..itchily rather interesting!
I'll make sure to avoid it! I understand it's the oil in these things that's the culprit, which is why it's hard to get rid of the itch.
im singin it...:)
terrific picture, definately has an itch factor.
Growing up in New England you have all three, poison oak, sumac, and ivy. Have been exposed to all three and personally think poison sumac is the worst! A nice picture of this itchy subject!
Super duper light and dark contrast in this sharpie, Maz! Glad you warned me about the poison oak, because these leaves look so harmless I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between it and your more benign type of plants. As for the title, it's the same thing I see on the signs on windshields at auto shows.
Great shot thanks for the warning, I wont touch lol...
Super link to The Coasters and I'm sitting here scratching. Fantastic light and shadows. Dana
sweet green warm hugs, Linda
I'm glad there isn't any where I walk, lol. Wonderful capture and thanks for the warning and info. Aloha
Naaaah, I am not alergic to it nor ivy. For me it is the stinging insects, Nice shot of this Calamine Contender!!!
