Great capture.

OH, ho,ho. This is really first rate. The fog looks like a soft blanket being suspended ever-so-gently above the trees along Lakeshore Drive. The lights make me think of Christmas/Holiday lights twinkling festively for all us passers-by. Your colors are sharp and clear, yet subtle too. How did you manage that? Big grin,...I just went to the wiki for Lake Shore Drive and see that it has often been referred to as "LSD". Hmmmmmmmm (strokes chin pensively). A marvelous foggy-morning shot.

WOOOW!!!How that city is beautiful!!! Terrific photo, mark!!I agree with Bill:))first rate (this time i am right with his name)))sorry,bill...shame on me, past days!)

Oh my, this is so incredibly gorgeous! Love the milky blue fog, and the street lamps punctuating the edge of darkness beneath it...you did GOOD!

Incredible capture, Mark. You were in the right place at the right time.

Man, you have FOG there--and I'm the one who lives near the ocean which blankets me in fog all the time. I do NOT have fog like this, that covers an entire city and gives it such an amazing look. You got it all her---- the fog, the light, the whole sweep of the city and the lake---WOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!

splendide photo!!

Fabulous shot, Mark! But I should still HATE to live there.

Superb!!!

LOOK what a fabulous capture of a really foggy and extreemely beautiful morning. It is amazingly beautiful. You did such a marvellous job on this. I love the beautiful cotton over the city and the lovely streetlamps. You got it perfectly, Mark. Yhank you for sharing it with us.

Sjmply fantastic.

All together a quite excellent shot!!! right place at the right time nicely done Mark!!!

Incredible moody shot of Chicago's shoreline Mark! When I visited your city in 2007, this was pretty much what I saw! LOL... I love this shot very much and the light lining the street is just so magnificent! Well seen and captured dear friend!

Mark, I have to say this one is an image that I'm going to look at over and over again. What a fabulous view this is and with that dense fog it gives this area such an aura about it. The sparkling lights serve as almost a celebration of a new day dawning.

superba capture and great work...fantastic scenary..!!

romantic

I love the intensity of the colors. The soft feel this has. The subtle glow. I know you don't have my pet filters, so I'm totally in awe of however you got those effects! Those soft blues and greens are wonderful, and the contrast between dark trees and light sky, with that glorious curve of the lake shore in between, is spectacular. You've outdone yourself, my dear. This is amazing work.

This really is a beautiful photo - very atmospheric with great colors and contrasts. It almost looks like a painting. And you are a sweetie to forgive us for faving your horrific macro. :o) CC

Really nice image and foggy atmosphere! Great shot!

TERRIFIC, WONDERFUL IMAGE! SUBLIME MOOD...I LOVE THE WAY THE BUILDONGS APPEAR AS PHANTOMS IN THE BLUISH LIGHT. A GREAT INTERPRETATION OF THE CITY BLUES.

well seen, great photo! RS

This is absolutely gorgeous!!!

A beautiful large capture and the scene looks quite mystical. Great lighting and colours too to make this a very interesting photo. I like how the skyscrappers are just coming out of the fog.

I've heard of a foggy day in Londontown, but this far surpasses that. Can't add much more to what's already been said above about this sterling capture, Mark! Way to go, my friend!

brings me back to K. Sandberg poetry... excellent pov and perspective. love the vivid 3D volume you've created, Mark!

What a mood you captured. Just love it. Great work.
