Description
This was once a grotty lawn with a few flowers around so one day I 'took the bull by the horns'and removed the grass and piled all the earth into the centre, then put a few stones around. Julie then planted it up and this is the result about 10 years on.

Beautiful over grown rock garden and beautiful capture!
I love the flowers hanging over the rocks. Such nice, you have created this garden, Jeff.
I agree with dochtersions
Oh, boy...this looks great. Do you have any trouble with grass (weeds) growing up through the crushed rock? I even have that problem when I lay black plastic down beneath the stone. Weeds just will grow anywhere! Nice to see innovative approaches to keeping yard work to a minimum:)
