Description
I wanted an image that ties into the Mayan end of the world idea,And i came up with the idea that the
Mayan pyramids would split open,Sort of a stargate inspired picture in hindsight.

Pretty cool image! I like the special effects. Good work.
Awesome concept and fantastic image!
Excellent.
Very cool indeed!
had to do a lot of re renders to get the clouds right, and wanted the top of the ships to just kiss the bottom of the clouds i think i could get the sun better but when i left the detail in it just looked like an explosion and didnt think the viewer would figure out its supposed to be the sun :-) Anyway thanks for your kind comments people for my first gallery submission
Exellent work lighting just right
Cool way to start off your gallery, nice work on the Fx too! Welcome to R'osity btw.
Fantastic work. Very imaginative.
Looks cool, well done.
Nothing wrong with being inspired by something else, for if nothing else exisited where would we draw inspiration? Besides, Stargate was a great movie and a wonderful series. Just as this is a great image and a wonderful concept...or is that vica versa....A wonderful image and a great concept!
First thing I thought of was that if this kind of intervention had really existed, them Spanish kon-keesta-doors of old would've had a slightly less easy time of it! Helluva debut, very inspirational.
Excellent.
