Description
This is Trevor on the unpaved path leading from the paved street onto the hillside where my Friend Carla's home is. And Rosemary Bush isn't a relative of two former USA Presidents', but the rosemary thicket along the path. I confess I couldn't resist the temptation of a pun. And I added some postwork to get the impression of an oil painting. The rosemary was in flower and very perfumed, which made Latins call it 'marine dew' (rus marine), while a folk etymology later connected it to Virgin Mary, I don't know why, possibly because of the light blue color of the flowers.
Thank you for your kind comments.

Well done Sandra! Trevor looks a bit lonely:)
beautiful work !
Posto niente male , direi !Il cane sembra proprio a suo agio !
I bet that nobody sneaks past Trevor and I love the colors on the Rosemary Bush. Dana
I'm glad to read that this Rosemary Bush is, in no way, related to two former US presidents. Beautiful photo and post work. Trevor looks like a wonderful pup, BTW.
very nice shot
Spectacular postwork you really have to see in full view to appreciate it fully. Again, a great garden scene. Carla's garden is spectacular. Excellent shot.
A very nice scene!
wonderful capture
This is great! I can almost smell the flowers. Also love the depth of field, the lighting, and the sheer lushness of the surroundings. I love dogs and Trevor is qiute cute.
Must have been a great W/E. Thanks for sharing
Very creative also that shadows. Trevor looks great, Sandra.
Wonderful image, you captured a very beautiful scene.
Wonderful capture. I see Trevor likes the setting as well, just taking the sun.
Excellent picture and work erland
I like the look of Trevor, and you did a good job with the painting!
Beautiful image! I love the perspective. It feels like I could step inside and join Trevor and you for a walk along the path and smell the wonderful rosemary too! Excellent postwork! I read today that the wife and a daughter of the most recent President Bush are not totally towing the Republican line. I love it!
I almost can smell the rosmary, Sandra... a beauty of a shot and fine postwork!
:-) gea
