Description
The B-17G "Texas Raiders" and the LB-30 (transport version of the Consolidated B-24A Liberator) "Diamond Lil" do a fly-by at an airshow in the 1990s at Ellington Field in Houston, Texas. Sorry about the quality. This is a scan of an old print.
Currently both planes are being rebuilt.

I was just at an air museum today, and found it fascinating. We have also had air shows in our area, and the Confederate Air Force came to our town one year. If there is an air show to be had, we usually try to attend. ;c) Excellent image, in spite of the troubles of scanning.
Saw a B17 fly over last Saturday. The neighbor saw me standing out there and came to see what I was watching. He'd never seen one. You're right, two of them is now a once in long time event.

fine picture from a grand airshow.... I nearly got heatstroke there many a time!! Didn't the CAF also have a B-17 named "Fifi?" or was that something else?
