Ronnie James Dio
July 10, 1942 – May 16, 2010
Ronnie James Dio (July 10, 1942 – May 16, 2010) was an American heavy metal vocalist and songwriter. He performed with Elf, Rainbow, Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell, and his own band Dio. He died of stomach cancer on May 16, 2010.
"The Last In Line" - by Dio
Partial Lyrics:
“We're a ship without a storm
The cold without the warm
Light inside the darkness that it needs, yeah
We're a laugh without a tear
The hope without the fear
We are coming – home
We search for the truth
We could die upon the tooth
But the thrill of just the chase
Is worth the pain”

Wonderfully composed tribute, Rose! We've all been fortunate to live in the golden age of rock! Rock on! Rock in Peace, Ronnie.
Beautiful tribute my friend.
Wonderful dedication!!
Nice tribute Rose well done!! Dont know him myself, actually had never heard of him :-O..
Par excellent dedication to this talented artist, Rose. They ran a piece about him and his career on television a few nights ago. Otherwise I would have never heard of him. Heavy metal and rock and roll rate extremely low on my list of interests.
