Description
The coloring and falling of leaves have eventually started here on the Highveld of South Africa - more than a month late! We have had unusual early autumn rain and I think that contributed to the lateness.
The beauty makes up for the wait though! Our autumn season is never as bright and beautiful as you folks up north, but this year it is really special. I snapped this image of my street last Thursday. My entrance is literally just on the bottom right of the image. I am facing south-west. The sun was low and brightened up the coloring trees so beautifully! The top of the hill in the distance is approximately 8km away from where I stand - just for some perspective of distance.
I'm still not better and seeing the doc this afternoon! Thank you for all the well wishes! I'm sure once I start antibiotics I will get better rapidly!
Thank you also for your support in comments and favs on my upload "Reflection" of yesterday! I appreciate you all so much!
Stay well!
Hugs
Carin xx
