My son's computer has packed up so now we are without Photoshop probably until I get my brand new personal laptop next week or he get's his desktop fixed!!! It is a tragedy!!! LOL... I am now forced to revert to OLD pictures!
I have captured this Blue Crane at the Monte Bird Park close to my house sometime early last year I think. The Blue Crane is South Africa's national bird!
Thank you for visiting and for your great support in comments and favs on my upload "Autumn Rose - The Sequel" of yesterday!
Stay well!
Hugs

What a beautiful bird indeed Carin. Looks fantastic.
What a fine shot! The light and shadow on his head give such an angular feel to his look ... almost like a statue. And that color!! What a gorgeous bird. The decision to have this beauty as your national bird was a good one!
Very unique indeed. Bravo !
Nice shot.
Nicely captured Carin. Isn't it funny how one gets used to these things? Computers? I remember saying 'I don't need a computer', and now I feel helpless if it doesn't work!
a fine one, this older shot, Carin, oh and how I know about the computer not in reach, when needed...lol... got my harddrive replaced as I have to do my own backups from now on, cause especially vue takes up so much backupspace I busted our normal backup...lol
Very well done Carin! I love the spread of the wings and the shadow! Clive
A really amazing shot Carin, so sharp and on the hop too, well done my friend. hugs Jane xx
I've never seen one of these beauties before, and I'm glad you found it and decided to post it. Fantastic! I love the whole sense of motion and the visual excitement of those feathers doing what feathers do whenever birds take off or land, or just flounce around, probably trying to scare off rivals. This is quite a marvelous shot.
Excellent shot!
