Description
Neon Geisha #8 - JoyBot
Jilly the JoyBot has just landed a job as a Power station attendant and is ready to charge everybody to the max...with electricity of course, what a shocking experience this could be !
*************************************************
Just finished reading a copy of 3D Artist magazine, rare for me, because it's a luxury. (in the U.K. and U.S. it's only half the price that I have to pay !)
Featured artist Lee Davies made this wonderful JoyBot model and this was an experiment for me in re-texturing the individual parts and lighting the scene.
Cheers jif3d :o)

wow, nice render, cool 3-D effect, those are always paint in the butt to create. Nice glance
Jeez mate, I think your using studio lights with perfect lighting modifiers now in Lightwave ;) Awesome and amazing level of detail, spectacular specularity and the render quality is just off the hook!
Brilliant work. I've seen that same mag in Borders. It's aimed at the top end 3D programs with not much content for us at the low end. I only buy it if there's some good free stuff on the disc.
Fantastic!!
Wonderful and fantastic realization my friend, impressive futuristic character......!!!!
She is amazing and what a fine job you did on texturing and rendering. CC
Well I don't feel so bad about the $15.99 I pay for my monthly fix of 3D WORLD.I did see that tutorial....but also did not the model is on the disc!!! Whodathunkit?! Nice retexturing.
