Description
This is Kayla (my granddaughter) with her "Baby"... I took this image two weekends ago! The doll was mine when I was a little girl. In fact - I was 6 years old when I got it on the day my tonsils were removed! It has seen better days but Kayla just love to "mother" it even though it is almost her own size!!! Kids and their imaginations - I envy them!!!
Thank you for your wonderful support in comments and favs on my upload "Autumn Rose" of yesterday!!
Stay well!
Hugs, Carin xx

Beautiful photo.
This is such a marvelous picture. That the doll is almost as large as she is, which is what makes it even more fun! At least she's holding it right. I saw a picture of a friend of mine, holding a doll (and a toy rifle) in her childhood...and true to the nature of that particular friend, I can see that she'd bonded more with the toy rifle than the doll, held casually by one leg! But that's a ramble for some other time. You captured the mood and the colors here perfectly!
Oh, Carin, how adorable! Can't let my eyes of them (or how must I say that : "I can not keep my eyes from"?) Kayla has such bright open eyes!
very very beautiful image!
She has an expression to be proud mom! ;) Wonderful portrait! :)
Such eyes...she's keeping her eyes on you to be sure you don't try to reclaim baby too soon:) Tough things happen (evidence broken glass) but one look at Kayla and you know the important things are all intact!
Adorable!
Carin how proud you sound and quite rightly so, for your grand-daughter is really such a pretty child, and oh how I remember those days of childhood fantasy. hugs Jane xx
OMG Carin - Kayla is growing up so fast and she is so beautiful. I'll be heading north on May 14th to see all of our babies. Can't wait. Dana
Oh my Kayla has grown a lot and is such a sweet girl, and I bet she loves this doll of yours, cause it is something special, nobody else has got...smile
