You'd never know what it was if you hadn't been there before. I would have thought something washed ashore, rather than assume this is what was left. Wonderful capture!
The leavings of man. Nice eye!
Not much left I have to agree with Tara also.. Nice shot of the bits that are left!!
It could be interesting to do a sequential montage!
The final stage? Or maybe the waves will wash the beach away and more will be revealed? Great chronicle in this ongoing saga...
great work. Must be something to witness this day by day.
all gone. wonder why we find nothing of the past?
Love the lighting, sand patterns, sparse grass, and the corrugated metal littering the beach, Marilyn!
Wonderful image! Sinking to rise once again!
this is awesome warm hugs, Linda
Your part of the planet is forever shifting and changing and that's so incredibly fantastic for me. I love this shot because as Tara pointed out, this looks like it could be something washed ashore, or blown ashore and yet it's all that's left of something that was already there! WOW! Talk about a reality trip! It's also incredibly poignant. I love the ripples in the sand left by waves...that's such a delicate touch especially since they're so incredibly transitory as well! WOW!
Wonderful - so desolate! Love it!
