Description
Less than a month ago, there was a barn standing here. These posts were actually on the inland side of the building. I had a hard time seeing this, it just didn't seem possible. Where a very few days ago, there were 30' dunes, there is nothing but flat beach. Nature rules, for sure.

One good storm can shift a LOT of sand. It's amazing to see the progression!
Nature has the final say. Interesting capture. Aloha

Poignant shot!
I love this. It is so very familiar and so comfortable. Nature is so very powerful and always gets her way.
power of the sea. cool image
...against all odds. Stellar POV and silhouetting in this remarkable shot, Maz! This pic reminds me of the barriers put up by the Germans on the French Coast in anticipation of the D-Day invasion by allied forces in WWII.
Just amazing and a wonderful composition!
wonderful work warm hugs, Linda
This is amazing! I love the way it's so stark and shamelessly itself--like Nature is just being Nature and you're recording all of it in all of its beauty and ever-shifting rawness. I have to say that I like the rawness in this too...those stark, black poles defining interesting angles and positions and the nice, flowing greenery in back, while all around is sky and sand. You're definitely onto something with this shot and the others like it! WOW!
Don't fool with mother nature!!

Amazing! The force of nature can never be underestimated! :)
