Description
The dunes that are still at the beach have some sweet surprises. These wild strawberries are just that. I'll have to go back for shortcake!!

clear crisp shot
Beautiful shot!
Beautiful pin sharp shot.
Lovely shot, well done!!
When I read the title in the ebot I instantly was reminded of a young colleague who was rather too partial to a Bacardi and blackcurrant at lunchbreak, and was often quite flushed in the afternoon. She swore blind it was the berries! These look as if they have the larger fruits: my garden is infested with alpine strawberry plants which never produce enough at once to make a bowlful.
Hope you're thinking of Strawberry Shortcake.......cause I am. Aloha
I love the wild strawberries, I think they taste so much better than cultivated ones!
Wonderful little treasure Marilyn! Well seen and captured! :)
Off-the-chart clarity, color, lighting effects and textures in this overhead shot, Maz! Although the white/yellow flower looks like a crumbling hard boiled egg, lol, tee-hee.
super cool looking
I really like the textures and the shiny lighting. Would like to see how big the strawberries become later.
I picked the one strawberry that came ripe in my garden today. I sliced it newspaper thin and sugared it until it juiced and then spread it on a waffle cookie. It was heaven. Who knew one strawberry could be so spectacular?
Wonderful find!
Beautiful glossy strawberry leaves. Nice sight to see in the wild. Dana
