Great shot. This could be anywhere in UK.
very candid capture.I was in the largest national chain of super markets/clubs and I happened to notice the checkout lady moving items so the corner would be touching the scales and then she would weigh the produce.the things were paid for and then I went to get a supervisor.I was polite about it, but when I asked her to reweigh the items, the bananas weighed less than the receipt said.the next time I go, I will watch and see if it was a one time affair or a habit.if it is a habit then they are outright stealing from the customers.then I will contact the tv stations, better BBB and any one else that will listen
BEAUTIFUL IDEA..... Fruit and vegetables are the best food for countered cancer
Yes it does. Most of our produce is coming from some other country. Great shot.
Has kind of a Norman Rockwell look to it.... Excellent work...
Wonderful capture....full of variety!
Great capture! Most of the foods we get 'Out of season' is from other countries
nice snap!
Selective post-work? Good scene.
belle photo!!
great street scenery! RS
A very fun and beautiful scene Bill. I like the postwork too.
The fruit & veg are lovely colours, same with our groceries :o( I don't think the fella near the scales eats too many fresh produce :o)
Three wise monkeys! I love that filter..Carravagio? It is a superb image!
I was also going to say a Rockwell image... Very well done and the postwork is great.
I really enjoy these candid shots. I miss so much everyday just rushing right on past. I guess that's what makes photography such a fascinating art form, and photographers such artistic people. You pull us up and make us think. Well done! Thanks.
sometimes just hard to choose wonderful capture warm hugs, Linda
Nice postwork.. Maybe the produce owner there should sample a bit more of his product LOL sorry had to say it.
Lovely filter work on this Bill now has the feel of a painting, well done!!
Very nice shot. I like the post work.
It reminds me that I need to get down there and take some pictures! Wonderful shot and postwork!
wonderful shot
Food Network! LOL! Wow - I want some of those red, yellow, orange and red bell peppers! Time to get grillin' They'd go great with the tilapia I grilled up tonight. Nice one, Bill! So colorful! With the painterly effect on this, it does bring Rockwell to mind.
Yes, it reminds me of a scene repeated hundreds of times on streets in Central and South America. I can't believe this is in Seattle. In any case, a fine capture of the populace and produce.
Great shot, like the filter!
Well you've gone and done it! Got me biting at the champ waiting for the local farmer's markets to start up. Still have a ways to go here though... Nicely rendered photo, the filter really does make it for this shot. : )
Super shot, Bill--and the postwork is wonderful. It does remind of me something, but I just can't figure out what it is (you WILL tell us, won't you??)
You already know what it reminds me of, since I flipped out the minute I walked in the house and saw this! Shades of Renoir and his street scenes, with that woman as a calm focal point in a sea of activity. I love the composition. The arc formed by the heads of the four people in the foreground, the group of three women in the background, the awnings, that fantastic scale ... this just sings! You did a wonderful job on the postwork. I love the way this turned out!
Tara's comment struck a note with me (pun)... I can hear Dean Martin singing 'Standing on the Corner watching all the girls go by...' Great candid mood and work, Clive
Mmmm...would take some bell peppers if I could. lol Excellent looking food. You have 'produced' an awesome shot Bill!
