Description
Inspired by Andrea, I took this shot of a very tiny lichen, the other day. I planted my "sousage" thumb beside it in the side picture, so you can see the size of the lichen. :)

Oh Helle - how divine! And to see the scale is wonderful! I just love the rich yellow!! I shot some more lichen shots in Namibia! I must still upload them!
Wow, that is some macro. Well done.
SPLENDID macro !!
Excellent macro and thanks for the comparison.
Outstanding macro, fantastic details. It looks fascinating, so small and so beautiful.
This is SO tiny, and you've made a great pic of it! I like the little cup shaped ones as well! and....What clean nails you have, Helle! The sign of a 'lady of leisure'? hehe!
HAHAHA, Andrea. Naa, my nails are clean, because I just HATE to see them dirty, so I scrub them, after use :-)
Great macro....
beautiful photo! With us there are also only so tiny lichens.....
Marvelous macro Helle! I love little tiny treasures like this:-) We are finally in 'spring' tho still in cold temps off and on. Thank you for stopping yesterday, I didn't expect anyone to comment as I am not here often now. Bless you and yours!

Awesome Macro of these Micros! The scale is the perfect touch!
A wonderful macro of this tiny lichen it is beautiful.
Now THAT is the best macro I've seen, for the unusual subject matter alone! I see that stuff everywhere, but never with this kind of detail.
Excellent work! Well Done!
Wonderful shot
What an amazing growth! I love that color! The light is perfect too, because it dances along the lichen and defines its shape! Great macro-work! I like the sausage thumb too, it's cute!
